International Photography Awards (IPA) 2025 - 3rd Place Professional Win
Awarded 3rd Place Professional in the prestigious International Photography Awards (IPA) 2025 in the Fine Art - Portrait category. The recognition was received for the successful series “Portrait of a Poet – A Journey Through Layers”. The project celebrates the work and collaboration with the muse and co-creator, the poet Manka Menga. Piotr Skubisz's Work "O. Balance" to be Featured in "DISOBEDIENT IMAGES" Exhibition at The OFF Arles Festival 2025
I am excited to share that my work, "O. Balance" from the series 'Portrait of a Poet – A Journey Through Layers', will be part of the "DISOBEDIENT IMAGES" exhibition during The OFF Arles Festival 2025 program. It is a significant honor to be part of this globally renowned international photography festival, Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles, with my work being presented as part of The OFF Arles Festival, a prominent parallel program. This year marks the 56th edition of the festival, held under the artistic direction of Christoph Wiesner.
The "DISOBEDIENT IMAGES" exhibition is proudly presented by ProfiFoto, and curated by Thomas Gerwers. The exhibition will be open from July 7th to 13th, 2025, at Galerie La Grande Vitrine (12 rue Jouvène, Arles, France).
I warmly invite you to the opening on Monday, July 7th, at 6:00 PM.

Piotr Skubisz Shortlisted in the World's Largest Photography Competition
I am honored to announce that my photograph, "Breathe" from the series 'Portrait of a Poet – A Journey Through Layers', has been shortlisted in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2025.
Recognized as one of the world's largest and most acclaimed photography competitions, SWPA selected my portrait among the top entries in the Open Competition's Portraiture category, distinguishing it as one of 14 shortlisted works. 
My sincere gratitude goes to the distinguished SWPA judges, including Claudia Grimaldi Marks (Senior Manager, New Creator Strategy at Getty Images), for recognizing my work. I also extend my thanks to Manka Menga, whose unique collaboration and inspiring presence were instrumental in the creation of this piece.
This recognition from the Sony World Photography Awards marks a significant milestone in my photographic journey, providing a powerful impetus for future artistic endeavors. It is an especially meaningful achievement for me personally.
